True Vine Family Christian Center (TVFCC) was founded by a total of nine people in the basement of Pastor Allen’s mother-in-law’s home. These people include Pastor Allen Newton Capehart; the shepherd over the ministry, his wife, his mother, and mother-in-law, and some of his local Prayer Line Fellowship members. 

Pastor Allen embarked on a 40-day fast and prayer journey from December 1, 2014-January 9th, 2015 seeking the will of God for his life in ministry. Prior to this, Pastor Allen spent years serving and administering God’s word to his people on the prayer line founded by himself and other believers called An Hour with Jesus Prayer line & Fellowship Ministries. In addition to running An Hour with Jesus Prayer Line & Fellowship Ministries, Pastor Allen also played various leadership roles in a few of the local churches in the community. 

Serving as an associate pastor under the leadership of Bishop Prince Williams at the Kingdom Covenant Ministries International (KCI) Pastor Allen sought ways to reveal the will of God for his life to Bishop Prince. This was a bit difficult for Pastor Allen because he and Bishop Prince cultivated a beautiful relationship over the years. During a Sunday service in 2016, the Holy Spirit revealed to Bishop Prince what the Lord had commissioned Pastor  Allen to do. This was not only a sign of relief for Pastor Allen, but it also served as a confirmation that indeed the Lord had commissioned Pastor Allen to embrace this mighty task of planting a church. Willingly accepting the call of God upon his life, Pastor Allen planted True Vine Family Christian Center (TVFCC); a non-denominational multicultural ministry currently located in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.  

February 2019 made True Vine three years since being birth. Since then, the church has grown and acquired a new location at 11290 Robinson Dr. NW Coon Rapids, Minnesota 55343 with a seating capacity of about a hundred plus in its sanctuary. The church currently has regular services; worship services are Sundays at 10:30 am, Tuesdays bible studies at 6 pm, and Thursdays healing and deliverance services are at 6 pm, all services are on a weekly basis. The Church consists of various ministries: Praise and Worship Ministry, Prayer Warrior’s Ministry, Evangelism Ministry, Deacon Ministry, Men Ministry, Women Ministry, Youth Ministry, Children Ministry, and Sunday School Ministry. The church is in the process of developing other ministries, including a Singles Ministry, a Marriage Ministry, a Senior Adult Ministry, and a Prison Ministry. 

True Vine Family Christian Center (TVFCC) cultivates a Christ center atmosphere, placing a high priority on learning, growing, and serving in the church and community as we worship and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a place where you can grow in your spiritual walk through the power of the Holy Spirit and the teaching of the word of God without compromise. It is a place to allow the word of God to bring light into your life for, salvation, healing, deliverance, transformation, and discipleship.  True Vine is a Christ focus Church where you can learn to love God, love others, and the communities of the world as we take the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ to the lost
